On Monday 13th July 2026 the Burham Old School Community Centre Solar Panel Project began with the erection of scaffolding. Then on Wednesday 15th July 2026 the roofers installed the solar panels on the roof of the main building and on the roof of the kitchen. There is a slight delay in the installation of the electrical apparatus, but hopefully this will begin on Thursday 16th July 2026.
The Project is funded by Burham Old School Community Centre Management Committee and supported by a £10,000 grant from the FCC Communities Foundation and the permission of Burham Parish Council.
Further progress will be reported as the project proceeds.
